  Gavin Hachiya Wasserman is managing partner of the law firm of Wasserman & Wasserman, LLP, where he handles a range of matters from estate planning to criminal defense.

A fourth-generation Japanese American, Mr. Wasserman serves as President of the Japanese American Republicans, founded in 1967 by supporters of Ronald Reagan.

Mr. Wasserman also serves as Assistant Vice President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and as President of the Association's Barristers, composed of about 8,000 young lawyers. He is a former Environmental Quality & Energy Conservation Commissioner for the City of Torrance.

Mr. Wasserman earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago and his B.A. in
political science from the University of California at Berkeley.
