Take 10 | Full biography

1. How do we get more Asian Pacific Americans (APAs) to become more civically and politically involved?

I would suggest: 1) mentoring and nurturing those who show interest, 2) increasing programs that educate APAs about the importance of being more involved and 3) creating more opportunities for young APAs to be engaged in their community.

2. What is your dream job?
Thanks to the citizens of La Palma, I have my dream job.

3. What was your childhood ambition?
To be Superman and save the world.

4. What is the biggest challenge facing APAs in politics today?
Getting every eligible APA to vote and to help their fellow APAs campaign for elected positions.

5. What one law would you change if you could?
I would make tax filing easier and to reduce taxes.

6. What was your first job?
Newspaper boy

7. What one question would you most like to have answered?
When will we see the first APA President of the United States?

My parents inspire me.  They work hard to provide for and protect their family, and they selflessly help others without asking for anything in return.  Their actions inspire me to take action and be proactive in giving back to the community.
