RECAP – 2018 APA Gubernatorial Debate

Pasadena, CA – On Friday, April 27th, CAUSE, along with over 70 community partners and over 15 press partners, hosted the first-ever APA-focused gubernatorial debate in California history at Pasadena City College.

The debate featured California governor candidates Travis Allen, John Chiang, John Cox, Delaine Eastin, and Antonio Villaraigosa. Moderators for the evening were Richard Lui, News Anchor at MSNBC and NBC News, and Seema Mehta, Political Writer at the Los Angeles Times.

Candidates were asked to respond to issues surrounding Immigration, Education, Language Accessibility, Healthcare, Climate Change, Housing, and Business. The full debate is viewable on YouTube below:
