The CAUSE Leadership Council & Network (CLC & CLN) moves the Asian Pacific American (APA) community forward through education, networks, and advancement.
The CAUSE Leadership Council serves as the governing body over the Network and provides the overarching strategy for the overall network. It is comprised of an even ratio of private, public, and nonprofit sector experience.
The CAUSE Leadership Network is an invitation-only, membership program and platform for next generation leaders to channel skills, expertise and passion for the purpose of cross-sector advancement and the empowerment of APA communities. Through opportunities for key connections, knowledge-sharing, and dialogue, CLN is a space dedicated to the mutual advancement of emerging APA leaders across all sectors. CLN members are committed to creating space for and driving our collective APA community forward.

All-member Retreat: Day of dialogue to create stronger bonds between members, knowledge-map, and to set a collective agenda for the year.
Reception: An introduction of the CAUSE Leadership Network to the broader community. The Reception will provide a platform of visibility for Network members. Invited attendees will include corporate executive officers, nonprofit executive directors, head hunters, press, etc.
4 Network Sessions (dinners, receptions, training workshops, dialogues, and more): Provides a platform for members and distinguished guest speakers to engage one another on relevant industry and community issues, challenges and concerns through skill-shares and skill-building.
Year End FUNdraiser & Next Gen Awards: A (fun)draiser to showcase hidden member talents and celebrate CLN accomplishments.
Résumé Book: To be shared with top civic leaders, organizations, headhunters, and more.
Resource & File Sharing: The skills, tools, and access you didn’t know you needed to enact the change you want to create.
Broader Partnerships: Bridge-building with organizations to elevate members (e.g. through appointments, media coverage, leadership positions, etc.)
Increase representation at the executive leadership level
Foster tri-sector collaboration
Collaborate and communicate to address community issues
Support other Network members with personal and career advancement
Change the civic landscape in Southern California to reflect a more cohesive AANHPI community
