CAUSE and API Forward Movement (APIFM) were invited to speak about civic participation and environmental justice with Junior Friends, a volunteer program for youth (ages 14-18) at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library!

JG Kimlevine, a volunteer for CAUSE the Vote High School Initiative, gave a presentation on why youth voting matters and how students can pre-register to vote at 16.

APIFM followed with a presentation on environmental justice, air quality education, and sustainability — showing how young people can take action for healthier communities.
