Internship & Volunteer Opportunities

Internships: 

CAUSE Community Engagement interns work at the CAUSE office to gain experience in learning firsthand about the political process and various aspects of the nonprofit sector. Our interns help us with program development, research and analysis, community outreach, event coordination, and marketing support. In addition, interns will be provided with professional training workshops and other leadership development opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities: 

Our volunteers are vital to our organization’s success. Students and working professionals can help us execute our day-of public programming events and/or help us with our on-the-ground efforts in voter outreach, education, and training.

Manager of Voter Engagement

Full Time Exempt, 40 Hours / Week, Los Angeles, CA

Under the direction of the Director of Programs, the Manager of Voter Engagement is responsible for the management and execution of the organization’s voter engagement programs. The staff member will work closely with political strategists and consultants to ensure quality results.

The ideal candidate has the ability to further develop and enhance CAUSE voter engagement programs. The position calls for an individual with experience in political canvassing and registering/engaging with voters. Project and volunteer management skills are a must. CAUSE seeks candidates with a passion for empowering Asian Pacific Americans (APA) to participate in civic and political spaces.


Programs Coordinator

Full Time, 40 Hours / Week, Los Angeles, CA

Under the direction of the Director of Programs, the Programs Coordinator is responsible for executing and supporting all programing to ensure program and organizational success.

The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of the APA civic and political landscape. CAUSE seeks applicants who are dedicated to develop the next generation of civic leaders and to empower the APA community.
