CAUSE Leadership Institute (CLI) for professionals is a 5-month-long certificate program that prepares mid-career professionals with the tools, skills, and network to lead and advocate for the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community.

Nancy Yap Appointed to LA County GRTF
Nancy Yap, Executive Director of the Center for Asian Americans United for Self-Empowerment (CAUSE), has been appointed to the Los Angeles County Governance Reform Task Force (GRTF) as an at-large member.

LOOK BACK ON CAUSE 2024
In 2024, CAUSE focused its efforts on innovative and culturally-informed voter engagement efforts based on research data and community experiences, activating multi-generational API communities throughout Los Angeles County. Learn more about CAUSE’s 2024 efforts and impact.

TOGETHER WE VOTE FEST
In 2024, CAUSE launched Los Angeles County’s first API get out the vote festival, Together We Vote Fest, a multi-day celebration during the 10 days of early voting. Organized with 20 partners, the festival engaged over 5,000 people in person and reached 400 million through digital media.
