CultivaLA Farm Pumpkin Patch, South El Monte
CAUSE tabled at the 5th Annual Pumpkin Patch in South El Monte, providing free voter resources, hosting interactive activities, and helping the community gear up for the upcoming election.
Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party
CAUSE hosted an energetic booth, providing voter resources and information on new district maps, supporting the community in understanding how Prop 50 might impact them. Attendees were encouraged to speak with staff and alumni, participate in fun activities for prizes, and get registered or prepared to vote.
Kape & Kwentos: Special Elections Edition, SIPA
This timely program invited young adults to discuss the impact of elections in their community, fostering conversation and connection over coffee. CAUSE and SIPA partnered to share insights about the November Special Election and answer voter questions, centering youth voices in the campaign.
Halloween Ballot Box Costume Contest and Scavenger Hunt
At the Halloween Ballot Box Costume Contest and Scavenger Hunt, CAUSE partnered with the South Asian Network to spotlight ballot boxes and vote centers across LA and Orange County. Community members showed off their costumes, learned about accessible voting options, and highlighted the importance of multilingual voter materials and ADA-accessible sites.
The People’s Party: A Festival of Art + Action
CAUSE joined this two-day festival of art and civic action, presented by Civics Is Sexy and NAACP. The tabling partnership with Asian American Media Alliance allowed CAUSE to offer nonpartisan voter resources and answer questions about the special election, further connecting with community members through vibrant storytelling and performances.
