Dan is an alternative rapper from Los Angeles, CA. He is a Korean adoptee.

Derek Mio // Actor & Stand-up Comedian

Derek Mio is an actor and standup comedian from Huntington Beach, CA. Derek began acting while attending USC's School of Cinematic Arts where he majored in Film Production. Also a skilled impressionist and fan of SNL, he also performs standup comedy at various venues including The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, the Hollywood Improv, HaHa Comedy Club, Ice House Comedy Club, and others. Derek has appeared in several commercials, films, and television shows including Greek, The Emoji Movie, G.B.F., Hawaii Five-0, Netflix's Medal of Honor and AMC's critically acclaimed The Terror: Infamy where he plays the lead character Chester Nakayama. For this role, Derek is nominated for Character Media's 2019 Breakout Actor on Television.

Priska // Singer & Songwriter

Priska is a Taiwanese-American singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, CA who, despite her small stature, will draw you in with her big voice and intimate lyrics. Though she spent most of her adolescent years being bullied in school, she was able to find solace and comfort in music and found that her strength lay in her ability to express herself through song.

Priska has performed and competed in various international showcases and singing competitions. Judges and fans have been drawn in by her powerful vocals and soulful delivery. A lifelong lover of feeling out songs with her heart, Priska will take you on an emotional journey that involves heartache, loss, and learning to carve your own path.

Saurabh Kikani // Stand-up Comedian

Saurabh Kikani was born to South Asian parents, grew up in San Bernardino, went to law school in New York, and has traveled all over the world. He sidestepped a career in law and politics to pursue his love of storytelling in all its forms, focusing primarily on producing, writing, and stand up comedy. He produces films, including the award-winning MISS INDIA AMERICA, has been performing stand up comedy for ten years, and is constantly on the search for the perfect plate of nachos. Saurabh's storytelling and comedy focuses on tiny acts of rebellion, the perspective of the outsider, and a celebration of all that is absurd and beautiful.

Sierra Katow is a stand-up comic, writer, and actor who has appeared on Last Comic Standing, Last Call with Carson Daly, Laughs on Fox, and Just For Laughs Digital. She currently works as a staff writer for a new talk show to be released on Disney+.

The showcase is a fundraiser event for CAUSE Leadership Council & Network (CLC & CLN). The event supports this year's members and the program and reflects the distinct flavor of our millennial impact-makers. The event features a stand-up comedy & performance show highlighting some of the most well-known Asian Pacific American (APA) artists.

ABOUT THE CAUSE LEADERSHIP NETWORK

The CAUSE Leadership Network is an invitation-only, membership program and platform for millennial leaders to channel skills, expertise and passion for the purpose of cross-sector advancement and the empowerment of APA communities. Through opportunities for key connections, knowledge-sharing, and dialogue, CLN is a space dedicated to the mutual advancement of emerging APA leaders across all sectors. CLN members are committed to creating space for and driving our collective APA community forward.
