Los Angeles, CA – Nancy Yap, Executive Director of Center for Asian Americans United for Self-Empowerment (CAUSE), has been nominated to the Los Angeles County Governance Reform Task Force (Task Force) as an at-large member Government. The Task Force was established by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to oversee the implementation of the voter-approved Measure G to promote transparency, accountability, and meaningful public engagement in county governance.
The Task Force will consist of thirteen members, including community leaders, county officials, and residents who bring deep expertise and lived experience, to guide the implementation of key reforms, including Board expansion, ethics oversight, and increased fiscal transparency. The Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on the five at-large member appointments on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
